Certain Women - What do we give of ourselves?
Luke, the Gospel writer, tells us that there were ‘certain women’ who followed Jesus from Galilee,
all the way to Jerusalem, even to the cross and empty tomb. In every generation there have been
‘certain women’, faithful followers of Jesus. Using scripture, story, song and liturgical drama,
this presentation gives voice to four such women—those martyred in El Salvador, December 1980.

Presented by “Women of the Well” at:
Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd., 14612

Transfiguration “Come Back To Me”
Lent is the liturgical season set aside by the Church to wake us up to the spiritual task of
conversion. It is the time to focus on our sinfulness and to reconcile the divisions within us
7 pm that keep us from being in right relationship with God, ourselves and one another. This talk
will center on what we need to fast from that prevents us from living the Great
Commandment to love.

Presented by Sr. Julie LeVeque, SSJ at:
St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Avenue, 14616

Repent! “I’ll Change Tomorrow!”
Listening to the right song at the right time can sometimes make us stop and reflect on
where we are at that particular moment, where we want to be and/or where we should be in
7 pm our relationship with God, others, and ourselves. Join us for an evening of praise and worship
music as we focus on the theme of repentance. Soul Purpose is composed of Youth Ministers
and musicians from the Diocese of Rochester. Through scripture, stories and music, they
testify to God’s presence in our daily life.
